About the Banshees

Our Story

The Banshees are a girls high school club team that draws students from greater Green Bay, but we welcome students from any area school that does not have a rugby club. Founded in 2020, the Banshees grew out of the middle school girls program that was established in 2018. We have had success on and off the field — our players have gone on to represent regional and national selectside teams, and many have continued their rugby careers in college.

The Banshees compete in the Wisconsin Girls Rugby League.

The Banshees are part of Green Bay Youth Rugby. Green Bay Youth Rugby includes co-ed flag rugby for grades K–8 and youth tackle for boys in grades 5/6 and 7/8 and girls in grades 6–8.
